"We've been enjoying our new bathroom and new porch so much that I almost forgot to leave a review! Zemar Construction was an unknown to me, but after speaking with Chris Ramez and getting to know him, I knew this was the company I wanted for our bathroom renovation and porch construction. Chris immediately understood what it was we were looking to do with our house and gave me solid advice and suggestions in our planning stage. Our bathroom was fully renovated after Zemar brought it down to its bare bones. From the remains of our efficiently demolished old style bathroom rose a beautiful new modern bathroom (new floors, beautiful shower, new plumbing...the works). Brian was the lead on this bathroom renovation and I cannot say enough about how courteous, skilled and experienced he was. All of Chris's crew worked together well and it showed in the quality of the work that was done. Our front porch was solidly constructed and styled and it is just beautiful! It has been a pleasure to sit outdoors in our new space. Chris's crew worked together well and the experience and skills were exhibited by the results. Both our bathroom and our new porch have received nothing but compliments from visitors. I would recommend Zemar Construction and Chris Ramez with full confidence because I have had the experience of working with them. Having construction in your home if very rarely a pleasant experience, but Chris's crew cleaned up each night, never intruded on our privacy and respected our home. It just doesn't get any better than that!"

"We had a toilet flood in our master bathroom. We contacted Zemar construction after reporting to our Home insurance. I was unfamiliar with the process of repairing the damage. Chris Ramez and his crew were great! They helped me navigate through our insurance company. They replaced our floor, walls that were damaged, drywall, texture and paint, replaced the toilet. They did a beautiful job! Since we had to have the repair done, we decided to pay the extra to have a new shower built. The shower turned out great! Our new shower is larger with a main large shower head, a hand held nozzle, safety bars and a seat that folds down. The crew was professional, on time, and had the work done in 5 days! We couldn’t be happier with the results."

"Following a significant water leak several months ago and less than impressive work from a local water mitigation company, we found ourselves very concerned about finding the right general contractor to fix and remodel our kitchen and bathroom and refloor the house. We met with and got quotes from several companies – and, eventually settled on Zemar construction. We could not have made a better choice. Chris immediately stood out from the competitors for the personal touch he provided. Once construction started, Brian and Trevor continued to impress. They deserve praise beyond what words can provide, but we'll try to capture some of it below. On time: Although house reconstruction is never done at the speed the owners (us) would desire, Chris was always upfront with timelines. We knew when the delays would be, for what reason (ex. cabinets back-ordered), and when the men would be back. They always showed up on time and were never late. No surprises: Going into the reconstruction, we had our set budget which we shared with Chris. He was able to build us a phenomenal bathroom and kitchen for the price quoted. Of course, as construction went on, we changed our minds more than once on what we wanted – Chris would always quote and advise us and always stuck to the numbers he provided. Level of detail: We don’t know that much about construction, but we do know enough to tell when someone is taking all the right steps. At the end of the day, we'd usually have a chat with Brian about the work completed and he always took the time to answer questions about what they had accomplished. There were occasions when extra work was needed to do the job right; the additional time that it would take was always communicated. Corners were not skipped and they always put effort into the small details of their work (Look at the tile cuts for the shower!) If you want the job done right the first time, these are the men you want doing the work. Cleanliness: At the end of the day, Brian and Trevor would ALWAYS sweep up the area, clean out the debris, remove tarps/etc. and make sure the work area was as livable as possible until they returned. They never left tools/trash/materials on site. The made the work feel far less disruptive to our everyday lives than we would have expected. In summation, the professionalism exhibited by Zemar construction was above and beyond what we were expecting from my previous experiences with other contractors. We have already referred Zemar to several friends and are lining up future projects that we will unquestionably hire them for. Take a moment to look at the before and after photos!
